Full-Stack Software Engineer / Frontend-Engineering Director
In my time at Monetate I played the roles of Frontend Tech Lead, Frontend Engineering Director and Full-stack Product Engineer. My duties included:
- Mentoring and managing a team of up to 6 Javascript engineers.
- Writing high-performance Javascript modules to be executed on a multitude of our clients (Best Buy, Brookâs Brothers, New Egg, Hot Topic, Office Depot, J. Crew, Patagonia and The North Face to name a few).
- Developing and maintaining a high-quality, in-house, React components library.
- Implementing new product features in Python.
- Executing interfaces to product features via Django and new APIs.
- Hardening security within the existing platform.
